A couple from Devon are planning to marry at the end of September starting with a wedding on the rocks at Ilfracombe. 24 year old Becky Watkinson will marry her groom, Samson Hutson who she met in Greece while on holiday on 23rd September.
The wedding ceremony will take place 1km out to sea on a rock during high tide, meaning wedding guests and the rector will have to get their feet wet.
A plucky groom spent a whole year planning the wedding between himself and his girlfriend, Colleen, using snippets of information gleaned throughout the twelve month period to put together her ideal wedding. Knowing nothing about the event until she pulled up in a Jeep thinking she was attending a retirement party, the bride to be was asked on a rose petal scattered red carpet whether she would marry Shawn.

Although it may not be the first thing most people think of when planning a wedding, two committed shark enthusiasts from Mexico decided that they wanted their wedding to help promote sharks and bring awareness about their declining numbers in the wild as an endangered species.
The unusual wedding venue meant that the both Civil Judge Jorge Denis, the officiator of the wedding, and his secretary, had to learn to scuba dive in preparation to carry out the underwater wedding ceremony for the couple in order to marry the 43 year old bride, Karla Munguia, and her groom, Alberto dal Lago, aged 41.
