For the last 37 years, professional photographer George Skipper has been helping brides and grooms capture the magical moments of their wedding day on film. After seeing many eventful weddings over the years, however, George has decided to hang up his camera.
In 1975, George was employed by his first couple who were tying the knot. He has decided however that after years of taking pictures of blushing brides and grooms, and assembled wedding parties, his time as a wedding photographer is over.

An Oswestry based wedding photographer has been short listed to win a 2012 Wedding Industry Award as Best Newcomer. Phil Barrett started PB Artworks in 2010 after obtaining a first in Photography at Glyndwr University, where he decided to study the subject following redundancy from his role as an illustrator at a greeting card company.
After graduating, Phil found that there was a distinct lack of opportunities for photographers in his local area. His passion for photography led him to start his own business, however, and in May 2010, he completed his first proper set of wedding photographs for Lauren and Ben Wild. He has since photographed 30 weddings for happy couples.
