A couple from County Durham are appealing to friends, family, wedding industry suppliers and any other members of the public who can help them arrange their perfect wedding. After being made redundant 2 years ago from jobs in the hospitality industry and struggling to find alternative employment, Karen Wilkinson and Chris Sanders have come up with an alternative way to pay for their wedding.
Originally, the pair planned to marry two years ago but when Karen fell pregnant with their now 20 month old daughter Ellie, plans were put on hold.

The show, hosted by financial experts Mrs Moneypenny from the Financial Times and Moneyweek’s Merryn Somerset Webb, offers advice on saving money and will be including a wedding special to help provide advice to couples who want to make sure their wedding budget doesn’t run away with them.
